Crowns
A dental crown is a covering for an existing tooth. Crowns are used to protect a tooth that has had root canal treatment or a broken tooth with little remaining tooth structure. Crowns can improve the looks of a tooth and can make it stronger and last longer. Crowns are usually made from porcelain, metal or gold alloy.
Bridges
A bridge is a used to replace a gap between existing teeth by joining an artificial tooth to adjacent teeth using crowns or dental implants.
Bridges are made from porcelain or metal. They are less invasive that an implant and are permanently fixed in place.
Veneers
A veneer is a layer of material placed over a tooth. Veneers can improve the aesthetics of a smile and/or protect the tooth's surface from damage. There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer: composite and porcelain.
